When we got simulation 1, I learned that abundance was present in the system. When interest based currency was introduced, within 3 minutes, everybody turned on each other doing things like stealing, killing, hoarding, blackmailing, using religion, taking advantage etc. And a few simulations later, I realized that I finally understood- care and compassion comes from the Heart, not from the Head.
Sidhaanth Kukreja, Homeschooler, Pathankot, Punjab
I have learned that today’s economic system is not what it should be…it lacks compassion, liberation, values and purpose.
I never knew that I loved nature as much as I do now, and it could happen only because of this workshop.
I also didn’t like meditation earlier. Now I Do!
I even noticed that I am a compassionate person.
Ruhi Kabra, Grade 10, Pune
I learned that when we have an interest based currency then we people do not even care about our family and we get to such an extent that we make plans for our own profit and kill each other. I also got that we have to be self-reliant otherwise it would be difficult to live a good and proper life. I understand that our eco-system is very bad and needs to be changed; otherwise the day is not far away when machines will rule on us. We should not feel superior to other elements of nature.
I was scared of dogs a lot but after the workshop I am feeling connected to them. I have also increased my concentration after doing meditation for a quite long time. I also learned different types of meditation so that I can do it at home. I was connected with nature at the end of the workshop.
Advaya Sharma, Grade 9, Panchkula, Haryana
I learned about the disadvantages of interest based currencies and how to embrace the natural order with the use of systems thinking.
I learned new forms of meditations which really helped calm my mind after a very harrowing incident during travel.
Shaunak Karyekar, Grade 10, Pune
System Thinking is better than Silos Thinking.
With Machines, Interest-based Currency and Greed, our humanity is decreasing.
I can now focus better and have better concentration.
I am also able to sit still for longer durations with more calmness.
I will also try to stop overthinking.
